GORT TIDY TOWNS

 

 

 

Gort Tidy Towns in partnership with:

 

The Gort District & Employment Scheme,

Galway County Council (Area Office),

The Community Employment Project,

Supermacs and Minihane�s Super Valu

 

have been doing some tremendous work in the town.  Some examples of this work are the flowers planted in The Square, the entrance to Coole Park and Ceannahowna.

 

One example of community spirit is shown by the residents of Ballyhugh who keep their area of the town in superb condition.

 

Great effort is being put into making our town more attractive and tourist friendly.

We urge everyone to take pride in their town, stamp out litter and make this a cleaner place to live.
